The first thing to do over break is…
The first thing to do over break is go out and have fun with your family or friends. You can pick up some great deals on the weekend and spend some quality time together. If you have a chance, take your family down to the beach for a day. Spending time outdoors will let you all appreciate nature and learn about different species of plants and animals that inhabit it.
On another note, if you don’t have much money left to spare, stay at home for the weekend. Go through your closet and get creative with ways of saving money! Looking for ways to save money?
#1 – Eat healthier: Instead of grabbing a hamburger or fries after school or work, grab some fruits and vegetables instead! They’re higher in fiber than junk food, so they’ll keep you full until lunch time.
#2 – Go easy on the drinks: There’s nothing more expensive than buying those overpriced drinks every now and then! Try cutting back on these sodas by switching to diet soda or water instead whenever possible. This way you won’t constantly be spending unnecessary cash on unhealthy drinks that aren’t even helping you lose weight!
#3 – Coupons: Coupons are everywhere in your mailbox during this time of year! You can save tons of cash by using coupons from different places like supermarkets, gas stations, magazines etc.. The best part is that the coupons are free so make sure not to miss them!

2. The best way to have fun is to go to the beach!
The weather is finally warming up, the leaves are starting to turn, and it’s time to take your mind off the school year. While there are tons of ways to have fun in the summer, if you’re looking for a relaxing way to spend some time, beaches are always a good option.
There’s no better place to kick back and relax than on a sunny beach with friends or loved ones. There’s plenty of opportunities for fun: volleyball, frisbee golf (or regular golf), swimming, boating—the list goes on! But don’t forget about tanning and catching some rays: getting a nice deep tan will help you avoid burning out in the sun when swimming! Just remember that if you do decide to wear sunscreen, you’ll still want to avoid getting burned—that means avoiding being under the sun for too long. Also remember that there are other options besides laying out in the sand: try walking along the shoreline or sitting under a tree while watching waves roll in. If feeling like working out isn’t up your alley and instead maybe taking your mind off of things is more appealing, there’s plenty of options as well (like reading). But in all cases above, just remember: have fun!
3. Nothing says “fun in the sun” than a day at the beach with your best friends!
There’s nothing like a day at the beach with your friends. It doesn’t matter if your family lives across the country and you haven’t seen them in years, or if you’re from a small town where hanging out with friends is hard because everyone is super polite to each other. There’s something that happens when you’re at the beach, standing in the sand and looking into a vast expanse of water—it’s calming and refreshing, even though you’ve got a bag full of snacks and sunscreen, just waiting to be dispersed throughout your group.
The best part about going to the beach with friends? You can either go on your own (which is great for those who don’t have any local friends) or bring some along! If it’s someone special you want to spend time with, whether it’s your boyfriend/girlfriend or even just someone who makes you feel butterflies every time they’re around, this is a way for you two to have fun together while still enjoying time outside by yourself.
You can do pretty much whatever you want when at the beach. You can swim with your friends! Or relax! And there are endless amounts of things to talk about while on the sand—your favorite color; what movie stars are dating what other movie stars; how long would it take for us all to get attacked by zombies—the possibilities are endless!
4.You can soak up the sun!
Summer days are longer than ever, so you can squeeze more activities into your schedule! What did you do over spring break? If you’re a high school student like me, it was probably a mix of homework and fun. For me, this meant napping with my dog while listening to an audiobook, coding up a website for my choir to practice with each other online, playing video games with friends during the rain at the public library, writing my blog on rainy days (as I’m doing right now), and soaking up some sun by the river.
In spite of all the fun I had last week – or maybe because of it – it’s important to remember that summer can be cruel in this way: long days mean tons of time outdoors in direct sunlight. This means you should wear sunscreen and apply twice as much as you normally would during normal weather times. The sun is strong here in Dawson City (it’s known as The Sunshine City), but even more so when there’s extra hours of daylight. Don’t forget to reapply!
These long days also mean plenty of time for swimming; if you want to get outside and stay active, a summer swim is great for cooling off . . . but don’t forget about your hydration levels! If you’re trying to beat the heat by going from exercise to exercise without taking breaks for water, all that physical activity will leave your body dehydrated faster than usual. It’s crucial that you drink plenty of water throughout the day if you hope to avoid headaches or worse consequences later on.
We hope your spring break was magical!
5.If you are not into tanning, then you can play sand volleyball or build a sand castle.
You don’t have to be a beach bum to enjoy the sand, sun, and surf of spring break. If tanning isn’t your thing, there are still plenty of fun things to do in the sun. One option is playing sand volleyball. The net is much lower than a regular volleyball net, so you can run back and forth from your side of the court without getting too winded. Just make sure you don’t destroy other people’s castles when you spike!
4th paragraph:
Alternatively, if building castles isn’t your thing (but building castles IS), then you could go for something more intricate instead—such as this scene depicting a battle between British redcoats and revolutionary Americans at the Battle of Bunker Hill:
6.If you don’t want to go the beach, you can go shopping!
With spring break right around the corner, you may be wondering what to do with yourself. While swimming in the ocean or drinking at the beach are probably on your list of things to do, there are plenty of affordable options that don’t involve sand or margarita mix—and wherever you go, you can even find great deals on clothes! Before going further, it’s important to note that spring break is an American concept and there are semesters all over the world. If this is confusing for you, please consult your local government officials.
7.There’s nothing better than a new bathing suit or outfit for summertime!
Whether you’re just getting into the spirit of summer, or you’ve been planning to wear a bikini all year, now’s the chance to stock up on swimwear!
For decades, bathing suits have been heavily marketed by their brands and designers as a way for women to express themselves through fashion. In our society, every time we buy a new one it signifies that we’ve found something new and exciting about ourselves. We’re constantly told that clothes are our “best friend”, but what better way is there to show off your joie de vivre than with a new wardrobe? Sometimes it’s hard for us to find things that we like that are both comfortable and fashionable, but it doesn’t have to be! With any luck, I’ve got all the answers you need in this blog post.
8.Don’t forget about all the sales at stores this time of year!
The sun is shining, the birds are peeping, and it’s almost time for summer vacation. Before you know it, the school year will be over and we’ll be surrounded by beach bags and pool noodles instead of books.
What do I want to do this break? This is a good question to ask yourself because there are so many things that you can do! You can go to your friend’s house or go camping at one of our wonderful National Parks. If you want to stay home or if your parents are having a hard time deciding what they want to do with you then maybe these blog posts will help! Below are some ideas on not only what I did but what other people did during their Spring Break.
Another fun thing that many people like to do during spring break is going shopping! That doesn’t quite seem like an option for me since I’m writing this in South Carolina (and really far from any malls). So instead of going shopping why don’t we talk about what sales stores have this time of year. Stores would love for you to think that every day is Black Friday but if you look closely on their websites or in the newspaper then you’ll probably find something being sold at a cheaper price than normal. Maybe mom wants new clothes so why don’t we all shop together? Or maybe dad wants a new phone so let’s make sure he gets the best deal possible!
9.You can even take your mom or sister with you so you can find matching outfits for when you’re at home over break!
My family and I are so close that we often look like we’re all wearing matching outfits. Though I know this would be an issue for some people, it’s important to me because I want to bring my family with me wherever I go. Even though it’s inconvenient to have someone tag along, spending time with them greatly improves our bond and makes us feel close. When you’re a kid, your parents can set limits on what you can do, but as an adult your relationship can be more open and free of restrictions. It’s important not to neglect that aspect of your family relationships in order for them to live up to their full potential but at the same time it is important for them not have too much control over what you do or how you act. Helping each other out like this is one of the many ways that you could bond better with each other as well as having more fun together!
10.The last thing on my list of things to do during spring break is to save money!
Saving money doesn’t have to be boring! Sure, it’s important to do the standard things like cutting out superfluous expenses and not going overboard with credit card debt, but it’s also fun to figure out ways to save money in new and interesting ways. For example, you could start a savings account that pays interest or get creative with your spending habits by trying something frugal like cooking at home. What I did over spring break was create my own savings account—it was easy and took no time at all! You can do the same thing when you set up your free RBC Student Banking account. I’ll tell you how:

There are many fun and affordable things that you can do during spring break
The stereotype of a student’s spring break is that it involves binge drinking, partying, and sunburns. However, spring break is a great time to relax and do something you’ve never done before. Something that doesn’t require alcohol or even leaving the house. Here are some fun things you can do over spring break:
Make plans to go shopping with friends for new clothes for the upcoming year (or just pick up something new that you’ve been wanting). Although this might not be a vacation in the true sense of the word, it’s still fun to get out of your apartment and see what cool stores are in your area.
Beach! If you have an hour or two, head down to your local beach and check out all the people walking around or playing on the sand. If you have more time than that then read on: Bring along some water shoes so that if there are shells on the beach you can look at them up close (or if there isn’t any sand then walk around barefoot). Read a book under an umbrella while listening to some music. Bring food with you so when you’re hungry take some time to enjoy your snack! Catch up on your reading for school by buying books from local bookstores or libraries (you could also work on homework if you need too). Relaxing by yourself outside can be very cathartic, especially if it’s warm enough outside! Perhaps bring along some crayons so that if there are kids around at the beach then maybe they will include you in their games (and I’m sure they’d love to see someone drawing)!
